Jerry - Besides the info from Floyd, there are also several hi value resistors
that may have gone out.  Opening up your SB-610 you should find some very
darkend resistors that are in the hi voltage circuit from the rectifier to the
crt.  I'd replace all of those with double the wattage.  If they are five watt,
replace with 10 watt...or 1 watt, replace with two watt.  These resistors are
undervalued.  The same with the capacitors.  These scopes require little work
once you find these components...pretty easy to work on.
