Getting out of HW-16 and HG-10

Decided to stop working on my HW-16 and HG-10 VFO combo
HW-16 is now running but as all this old gear, things may keep coming up.
Replaced the filter cap, and now able to receive.
Power was 40 watts, but then slumped to 15 watts or so, may be the pot.
VFO not yet hooked up but looks pretty good.  Using a crystal to check.
Just running out of time to fix and now what to just operate.
