Fw: Model HX-10 MARAUDER Balanced Modulator diode question

I'm not at all familiar with that transmitter, but I
see no reason why a pair of 1N34's or 1N270's
wouldn't work. How is CW generated? Do they
unbalance the balanced modulator for CW? If
they do, then I would think the problem may be
no audio getting to the balanced modulator.
