I would pick the years for which there was an annual catalog with the firm,
semi-glossy covers. In 1972, I think, they did away with those and went to
quarterly versions only, and they were not as nice. The best years, IMHO,
were 1960-1971, with 1965-1968 making up the best of the best. But that's
just my opinion. I could be wrong!
These pop up on eBay all the time. That's how I recreated my collection.
They can run anywhere from $3 to $20 each.

If a person were to assemble a series of Heathkit catalogs that would show
the progression of Heaths' Amateur Radio products what years what you pick?
Ideally I suppose you would want one from every year, but I dont think I
could
afford that even if I could find them.
So what be the next best alternaltives, every other year, every third year,
what?
Are there key years to collect? What year would I start with?
Any help would be appreciated.
