Heat Cantenna

As I recall there was an article in QST around 1968 that featured the
Cantenna. The gist of the article was a modification to the Cantenna that
replaced the solid state diode with a vacuum tube dual diode(6AL5). I
modified my Cantenna as per this article and still use it to this day. It
allowed measurement to the kilowatt level and a simple math conversion to
calculate actual power based on the value of the load resistance for the
particular Cantenna you might have. I will look up the article if anyone is
interested.
