Heath 'updated' manuals - how can you tell?

I have an SB-401 assembly manual. In the lower right corner of the front
cover is the number 595-947-06. I notice that some of the recommendations
from SB-401 service bulletins I see are already integrated into this manual.
Does this number say something about when the manual was printed, or what
version it is? If not, is there some way of telling that?

[E.g. one service bulletin says to join lug 1 on coil CN to lug 1 of coil CM
with a 100 Ohm resistor instead of previously shown solid buss wire. But
the manual I have says already says to do that as part of the normal
assembly process.]

Thanks,
