SB-102/SB-303

Has anyone ever used the 102 and 303 together as splits? If so I would like  
info on it. Would like to be able to work splits for DXing. The ideal setup of 
 coarse would be a SB-102 and the SB-640 external VFO but they are hard to  
find and if you do they want an arm and a leg for the 640. Tnx you Terry  w9cau
