VTVM DC Probe

Hi all,
I own a Heathkit V7A VTVM for whitch I long ago lost the DC 
probe and have decided to build up a replacement.

I have all the parts except the phone plug that connects to 
the VTVM. My concern is that the plug can have as much as 
1.5KV across it and I doubt that available plugs of today 
are insulated well enough to withstand that high a voltage.

I welcome comments / solutions.
