Possibly, but there is no provision to do it. Had this been a
pressing problem, I would have measured the running frequency,
to see how far was it from the specified 41KHz. If, indeed, there
is a discrepancy, measurement of associated caps and coils would
be in order. Another possibility is a lower than usual beta of
the driving transistor.
However, as mentioned, I am quite happy with the unit as is.
