HP-23 Circuit Breaker

I don't know why a fuse shouldn't work fine.  It should be probably be a 
3A slow blow unit (3AG) or thereabouts.  I don't have a manual for the 
HP-23 but you might be able to dig some details off it with regard to 
the circuit breaker ratings. I didn't wander downstairs and check the 
couple of HP-23s that I have (as well as a HP-20) .... one of the HP-23s 
and the HP-20 do use fuses (actually fused plugs on the ac line) so they 
certainly will work. The legend says '3A'.

The breakers should be available from a multiple sources such as DigiKey 
and Mouser.   Mouser probably a better deal with no minimum order (isn't 
that neat!).
