Gentlemen & Ladies:
After some effort have restored AM on the DX-60 by replacing one burned out
and two way out of spec resistors around the 6DE7. Now, I can hear myself on
a monitor receiver nearby by the audio is muddy. I made some measurements
and I'm hoping someone out there can help me isolate the problem. All
voltages were measured with the rig tuned to 40 meters, 150ma on the plate in CW and
dropping to about 87ma in AM.
12AX7 Schematic Measured
Pin 1 115 98.4
2 0 5.0 mv
3 1.2 1.164

5 - 0.0
6 70 98.5
7 -0.7 -0.891
8 - 0.0
9 - 0.0

Pin 1 600 640
2 22 fluctuates (starts
around 7 volts and drops over time)

5 - -0.3 mv
6 22 4.02
7 -1 -137mv

As always, your help is much appreciated, and even if I can't completely
solve the problem, I learn a lot and am encouraged to go on.
