Shurite Lives!

I've been making inquiries about Shurite meters for my DX-35 (and Johnson
Adventurer), mostly in hopes of replacing the movements, and discovered
that they're still in business. Go to http://www.primetechnology.com and
download their catalogue for the types. It looks like their 850 is the
modern-day equivalent of the little meters on the DX-35, et al, but they
appear to have been very significantly re-engineered. Allied Electronics
(that name sounds somehow familiar) has the 850 line, apparently the same
size as the old meters, listed on page 991 of their 2004-2005 catalogue for
$13.20.
