Peter Dahl has 5U4 and 5R4 solid state replacements, too:

The best (and most expensive), however, are the Copper Caps from Ted 
Weber. They contain the proper dropping resistors (very important) and 
inrush current limiters (also good to have).  Besides, they look sexy:
