WTB - power cord for SB-303

I have a 303 myself and faced that quandry. Here's what I did. It is
easily done and easily
reversible should you want to.

From an old junk CB, I removed the three pin power socket on the rear.
I then obtained a matching
3 pin power plug for it. I removed the power socket from the 303 and
replaced it with the three
pin socket from the CB. I connected line cord to the CB power plug (or
even easier, splice line
cord to the CB power cord) The CB power socket goes right into the
space vacated by the 303
socket ... I used small nuts and bolts to bolt the CB power socket in
place, using the same holes
the 303 original socket used. No holes were drilled or anything.

Should I ever want to do so ... such as if I ever get any original Heath
power cords ... I can
reverse the modification, replacing the original Heath power socket ...
and no one will ever know
that it had been done...
