WTB - power cord for SB-303

I never could understand why Heath used these unsafe,
non-standard cords on (and only on) the SB-30x and SB-40x
rigs. No other Heath equipment (that I know of) uses a
detachably power cord.

I have been replacing the 2-wire power cords on my SB
equipment with the 3-wire type. For the SB-301/401 rigs I
replace the 2-pin socket with a flat aluminum cover plate
drilled for a strain relief. The other equipment (-610 -620)
usually requires drilling out the 2-wire hole to accommodate
the 3-wire strain relief.

Jack, I think I saw a 3-pin cable on eBay lately.

Anyone have a spare power cord for the SB-303? I can't
believe that no-one
has discovered either a substitute part number or a _safe_
update/workaround
for this hard-to-find item - was it used for anything else,
Heath or
otherwise?
