DX-100

I recently acquired a DX-100 that has a few mods in it. Trying to figure out what they are. Noticed on some websites that there are manuals for DX-100 with 3X 6146, DX-100 Mk I - SSB mod and DX-100 Mk III - Load control mod. I assume that the load control mod is adding the 3 gang variable capacitor and eliminating the step capacitor switch. I am curious about the SSB mod since this rig seems to have it with two BNC's on the back chassis apron with input and output in the area of the driver. Any info on mods would be appreciated. I built a DX-100B when I was 15 years old as K9QKI in Chicago, so this is a real boat anchor nostalgia trip. Would like to get it running and enjoy CW and rag chewing on AM.  Need to get a tube RX also, probably a Hammarlund or National since I never had that brand of rig. Want to warm up the shack for the winter!! thanks, 73, Robert W6RQR DM73
