DX-60Blues

Fellow Collectors/Restorers,
 
Hoping you can help.  A DX-60B bought on eBay with the old "it worked  last 
time I used it" refrain.  Plugged it in, no grid current.   Replaced 6146 with 
a good one, grid current.  Plate current dipped and  loaded to 150 ma but only 
with the load control completely clockwise.  All  of a magnificent 20 watts 
out on 40 meters!  Wiring looks very good.   No evidence of burning but the 270 
ohm resistor across the can capacitor looked  a little bubbly.  Checked and 
found good within + or - 10%.  No other  measurements made.  Works on AM and 
CW.  Where do I look next?
