Looking for Tips on Paint Stripping - SB-102 cabinet

I am attempting to completely strip the paint from the cabinet of an
SB-102 that was in bad shape.
I am not having very good luck and would appreciate any tips in this
area.  This appears to be a bigger job than I thought..

Also, the cabinet has a small dent that I 'feel' could be worked out.
How would one do this carefully without causing further damage.
