SB-401 Excess Grid Drive

Thanks to W5RKL and W6CUX for the suggestions
concerning the balanced modulator and the carrier null
pot.  I shot a little Cailube into the pot and
exercised it a bit, powered up and nulled the carrier.
 Seems to be working so far.  I have half scale on the
grid meter with the level control at 9:00 position.  I
have a supply of 1N5711 Schottky diodes which I will
use to replace the existing ones at some time in the
future.  Since things seem good right now I will
probably hold off for a while.  I need to test
operation on SSB yet.
