HW-18 manual or crystal formula

Mine is the -2 version.    Not having a manual, I dont know what the 
differences were between the three...
Anyone know?    And, were these pretty good rigs?    I vaguely remember 
operating one during an emergency drill back when
I was a Novice.   It was located in the basement of the towns city hall 
as I recall.... that was about 38 years ago....
