You might check Ham Radio Mag., June 1976, page 80, New Product Review,
for some insight into this filter. I believe those adjusting screws were
for tailoring interference reduction on specific TV channels. The product
was also known as the Channel Guard XL-1000. Seems to me I remember them
back in the 70's being located on Long Island in New York. I don't think
they exist anymore. Unless you know specifically that your RF signal is
causing TVI on say the VHF channels, 2-13, I wouldn't use it. Of course,
if you are causing TVI, I would first check the rig to see why it's
generating spurious emissions in the TV band and if there's anything you
can do to the rig to eliminate it.
