SB-610 P.S. diodes

I gather Diodes D1 thru D4 can be replaced with 1N4007s.
But, what about those selenium diodes- D5 and D6? Just stack a couple of
those
1N4007s for each leg--or, what do you suggest? (Gotta have some good
P.I.V. here!)
I know about changing out ceratinresistors in the H.V. rectifier
circuit. But, I
don't recall seeing anything mentioned about the filter electrolytics
and resistors
in the lower voltage rectifier circuit.
Do they hang-on like the Eveready Bunny?
