8873 tube for SB-230

Unfortunately, the conduction cooled 8873 is, to my
knowledge, not being manufactured any more. When you
can find one the price is astronomical. You can
usually replace the SB-230 with a better linear for
less than what a single 8873 is going to cost.

The 8874, which is an air cooled version, are still
plentiful which is "lucky for me" since my Tempo 2001
linear uses a pair. You might look into what would be
involved in converting the SB-230 to the 8874.
