IT-12 question

Hi,

I assume every Heathkit fan knows that there are (at least to my 
understanding) only two versions of the model IT-12 Signal Tracer. 
One has the white panel, and the other has a darker bluish-gray 
panel. I am excluding any predecessors like the T-4, which also has 
almost the same look.

Which one of the IT-12 releases is of more recent vintage?
Anybody know?

I think the one with the white panel was the last version that was 
released, but I might be wrong.
