HW-100 patented 'Harmonic Drive' question

Are you sure it was patented?  Are you perhaps basing that on their having
used the tm symbol with the name Harmonic Drive?  That pertains to
trademark, not to patent.  (I don't recall that it was patented, although it
may have been.)

I had a HW-100.  I guess I lucked out--  my dial drive worked smoothly.  But
I understand that many complained of wobble and backlash.
