Need RF Sig Gen 100Khz to as high as possible...

Fixing up receivers/boatanchor type, I need a GOOD signal generator.  
Not a boatanchor generator, but not in the thousands of dollars range 
either.   It needs to have calibrated RF output and reasonably stable, 
with internal modulation.  100KHz to 100MHz prefered.
It doesn't have to be extremely accurate frequency wise as I can use my 
counter to know what freq it's on.  But I do want one that is good.   
I've had a URM 25, Tripplett 3432 and Heathkit RF signal generators  
This one needs to be better and a good price to boot.
Any ideas/info as to who has one is appreciated as well.  thanks, Bob
