I remember my dad "rolling his own" crackle finish by spraying clear Krylon
over the freshly sprayed color coat. I think the color coat was allowed to
set-up for a bit - but not fully dry. I see if he remembers.

RE: Rusteoleum American Accents Stone Creations to give me a crackle.
How well is the crackle reproduced compared to an original SB-303 or
SB-401? The original crackles were pretty tight together, and fine
lined (lot's of density in crackles/square inch); they looked almost
like overlaid finger prints placed all over in half dried paint
How close would you say Rusteoleum American Accents Stone Creations get
to that after the color has been put over it?
Just curious.
