Nut size on tuning shaft exterior of SB-401 or SB-303

Hi,

What size of hollow handled nut driver that should I order to tighten or
loosen that brass colored 'largish' nut on the main tuning shaft (the
one you see when you remove the main tuning knob on an SB-401 or
SB-303).  
(I'm not in a position to measure it right now).  Does anyone know?

And, does anyone know a source for nuts like that are the same outside
size across the flats (and internal threading etc.) but yet are still
very thin just like the original?
