N.O = Normally Open (as in relay contacts)
N.C. = Normally Closed
Normally = without power applied to the relay coil

Subject: What Does N.O. Stand For?
I've noticed the letters "N.O." on one of the power supply connector
pins on a couple of Heath schematics. What do these letters stand for?
