Follow Up: Heath HW-8 Final Problem

While I've never came across that problem in the HW-8's I've fixed  
heathkits with flaws in them from the time of their assembly.

The most noted one was a mosfet with the shorting wire still wrapped  
around the four leads...

the radio never worked from the moment it has power applied...
