SB-401 Balance modulator diode replacements

I have decided to use the 1N5711's as replacement diodes in my SB-401
transmitter's balance modulator. There are 4 of them in the SB-401's
balance modulator. I agree, silcon diodes should not be used in a balance
modulator.
