SB-200

Corky:
It sounds like youre trying to use the 200 with a solid state rig.
The easiest way would be to get a low power tuner and use it between the rig and the 200.
One of the disadvantages of these new solid state thingies is that they need to see a low swr or they automatically reduce their power output. That happens when they see an input impedance similar to the older amps ..
Those of us who still use tube rigs don't have to worry about such things because the output circuit of the tube rigs is tunable and will match the impedance of the tube amp input...

Am in the process of setting up this SB-200 amplifier.
I have dipped the input coils to their respective
bands and added capacitence where needed, and now want
to set them up to the exciter, understanding this has
  to do with low VSWR.

The Heath manual gives no directions on how to do this
  procedure.

Can anyone direct me where I might find the info?
