Dear Tom,
You most likely have a shorted C-24, "door-knob" capacitor, which will
short the anode HV to ground through the choke.
If you visual inspect the door-knob capacitor, located in the RF cage, above
and betweent he 572B tubes, you will most likely find a little crack in it.
PLEASE make sure the power is off and the filter capacitors are bleeded
before you stick your hand (or anything else) in there through !!!
You can get those door-knob capacitors from here:
http://www.rfparts.com/product.html#search
While you are at it, inspect the grid resistors R21 & R22 also (33ohms/1W) .
You are most likely going to find that they're charred and will need to be
replaced.
Good luck!

Subject: Choke for SB-200
Hello All!
I am looking for 45-61 the 50 mH choke in the SB-200. Also any ideas as
what would cause this choke to burn. Grid voltage going negative on the
meter and one tube starts to glow red?
