VF1 VFO and HG 10 VFO voltages

However, replacing the 0A2 in the VF-1 with an 0B2
which drops the screen voltage on the oscillator tube
to 108 volts helps stabilize the VF-1 considerably.
Then running a regulated 150 VDC as the high voltage
helps even more with the stability.

Finally, replacing the 6AU6 with a 6AH6 (direct
replacement) really stabilizes the VF-1.

However, the VR tube will no longer be regulating at
input voltages below that which is required for
reliable "firing": which is about 20% above the
regulating voltage. I.e., 133 VDC for the 108 Volt VR
tube in the HG-10, and 185 VDC for the 150 volt VR
tube in the VF-1.

That's why I said ~150 VDC for the HG-10 and ~200 VDC
for the VF-1 .
