On a sad note I recently wrote to David Palmer, W6PHF. David was the
author of Improving the SB-104, QST March 1982.

I wanted to clarify some of the changes he made to his rig.



Unfortunately, I got back a short note from Kathleen Palmer. She informed
me that David had passed away 2 months ago from Congestive Heart Failure.



His shoes will be hard to fill! I know he will be missed among the ranks
of Hams on CW and missed by heathkit users too.



Please, anyone who has used these mods in particular, I need some help
with these!
