Unique Heathkit items?

I have a pair of IB-1 (one may be an IB-1B, can't tell the
difference) as well as a General Radio 650 of which that Heath is a
clone. BAMA has the manuals. IB-1 in the dreaded dju format, the
IB-1B in pdf.
Great old blonde wood slant-front cases. One has the battery leads
going outside the case.
I believe these actually use the General Radio 1 KHz hummer. One of
mine spent a tour of duty at West Point Military Academy according to
the spray paint logo on the side.
Cool pieces still useful today, but, as you noted, not very common.
