HEATHKIT HG-10B and SEND and RECEIVE CRYSTALS for HW-16

Hi, Al.  Welcome to HF c.w.  We need all the brass-pounders we can get.

The HW-16 uses crystals (or a vfo) for transmitting, but not receiving. 
  The receiver-section is tunable and its frequency is independent of 
the transmitter-section.

Christmas is coming up and I've probably got an xtal to spare.  Do you
want to get on 80 meters or 40?
