At the suggestion of one of my vendors, I have decided to add a 10 mfd @
35V axial electrolytic capacitor to all re-cap kits for the HW-16. This
is to replace the original cathode bypass capacitor in the receiver's
audio power amplifier stage. The original cap was a 10 mfd @ 15V unit.

The inclusion of this capacitor will be done at *no charge*, and brings
us to the point where a replacement for every electrolytic capacitor in
the HW-16 is included in the kit. The extra cap will be included on
orders in house.

Here then is the updated list of capacitors included in the HW-16 Re-Cap
Kit:

Qty. 1 - Multi-Section can-type capacitor: 47 mfd @ 450V / 47 mfd @
450V / 100 mfd @ 250V / 100 mfd @ 350V.
Qty. 2 - Radial-lead electrolytic capacitors for voltage doubler, above
or under-chassis mount. 47 mfd @ 450V.
Qty. 2 - Axial-lead electrolytic capacitors for bias supply: 22 mfd @ 160V
Qty. 1 - Axial-lead electrolytic capacitor for cathode bypass, audio
power amp: 10 mfd @ 35V.
Qty. 6" - De-soldering braid

All capacitors rated at 105C.

If you missed the particulars about the multi-section cap, I finally
managed to put it on-line at http://www.hayseedhamfest.com/capkit.htm .

The first production run is finished and will ship next week.

Many thanks for all your support!
