VHF AM - Is there a "National AM Simplex Frequency on 2 Meters?

The folks in the northeast Mass - SE NH have been using 144.425 MHz as a simplex AM QSOing frequency for several years. You might find them about 7:00pm, usually using 'boatanchors'...jd/K1TLV
