By the way, there are two different versions of the AK-5 speaker that was sold to be used with the RX-1 Mohawk.  The original 100, or so, have a groove around the sides and top (no groove on the bottom) that is 3/4th of an inch back from the front edge.  Reportedly Heath found that they could save a few cents by eliminating this groove and all of the rest of the AK-5 speakers have solid sides and top.

I do have one of those speakers with the groove.
