DX-60 Problems

I have a DX-60 that works well on CW putting out 50-60 watts at 150 ma. of plate current . On AM it puts out 34 watts of carrier and modulates to 50 watts but the current is too high at 110 ma.   In the CW mode the resting plate current is 60 ma. instead of 20 ma. as the book calls for.  All votages on V-3 (6146) appear correct. I would like to use on AM if I can get carrier output to correct levels.  I have checked bias and screen supply voltages and they are correct. Any and all suggestions are most welcome.
