Patrick -
I do NOT recommend solid-state replacements of these rectifiers..for
a good reason..
The plate transformer - especially in the HX-10 is really UNDERRATED
and has a very large tendency to fail with a shorted
high B+ winding to ground. The increase in plate voltage would NOT be
a good thing - IMHO.
Having been down this road I recommend that you use the tube type
rectifiers AND try to run the units on 110VAC if possible to save
the transformers. Replacement is a big job - if you can find a
transformer. Peter Dahl used to have them available for about $350 or
so if I recall - sigh..
Good Luck
