I
> have a HW 22 (not A version) that has a problem. It will receive on one frequency and transmit
> 200KC higher than its receive freq. I.e. I receive one station on 7.2500 MZ and when I transmit it
> will outout on 7.2.700 MHZ. This has been verified by on air stations I have contacted and by myself.. I transmitted on the HW 22 and receiving on my Kenwood 570D Xceiver,. the570D received
> the HW 22 transmitter at 7.2.700MHZ a difference of 200KHZ. I have Trouble Shot this thing for a month and
> have not made any headway. Could it be a leaking cap or an out of spec resistor ? It
> is in very good condition and hate to shelf it or part it out. ON receive the HW22 receiver recives in accordance with the main freq dial I.e. I transmit with the 570D @ 72500 with an output power of 5 Watts and the HW 22 receiver tracks along within Heathkit specifications. The groups' help, as in the past, is most
> appreciated in solving this problem .
