SB-634 Question!!

 The SB-634 is an all electronic device.  No motors.  Just a clock chip that (I think) syncs off the power line.  But there are other components in the circuit.  It's been a while since troubleshooting one.

If it uses a synchronous motor then its rate of rotation is determined by  
the frequency of your mains supply, not the voltage.
