Center-Tapped vitreous Resistor needed...

Hi, gang!

I'm rebuilding (improving, actually) a UT-1 Power Supply for my MR-1/MT-1
pair and it's running pretty well; new diodes, new 40uF axials. The original
125uF cans seem OK coming up slow on the Variac, voltages look pretty good.

But I'm not real happy with the original 30K 25W CTR for the bleeder. That
sucker's hot as a pistol. Seems as though it should really be a 50W for
safety's sake. But, can I find one that size? Heck no.at least not at
Allied, Mouser or ??

Can someone offer me a lead or two to hunt one down? There's plenty of room
where the original one's mounted on the chassis, for a 50W job.

73,
