Webster Bandspanner query

Hi Fred,

Are the Bandspanners both the same length or is one shorter in in the
"broomstick" length? I have had both long and short ones and the coils are
the same length. With the longer one the bottom of the coil is about the
middle of the broomstick. There are marks on the sliding whip for each band
(more or less) and if you loose contact shortly after the 10 meter contact,
and it is the longer one everything is hunkey dori. They are great
antennas, cover all bands quite well. They were made in the days we weren't
too lazy to stop for changing bands.

73,
George
