Heathkit VHF-1 Seneca hardware

Yes, they should be acorn nuts.  At least they are on every VHF-1 Seneca that I have ever seen including mine.

There is a washer which is just slightly larger in diameter than the acorn nut.

I acquired a Seneca last week and there are 4 nuts on the front panel.  These are standard hex nuts.  I've looked at pictures of Senecas on the web and I think these should be acorn nuts but I'm not 100% certain.   Also, is there a washer of some type behind each nut?
