OT: Foam Tape Question Follow-up

Thank you very, very much to all of you who read/responded!  I apologize for not being more
  specific about characteristics.

Thickness : 3/16 in. ; Width : 1/4 in.
Application : Used for damping mechanical vibration and dust shielding.  Built kits that used this
                       type of foam were mainly stereo, speaker, and test-equipment.
No voltage/current/heat/puncture-resistance considerations apply.

The porosity was "medium", allowing sufficient "smashing" when screwing down panels,
   speakers, etc.
 
Have been subscribed for years, and have learned alot!  Basically a Heathkit TE and "audiofool" who
   wanted to build "that ultimate" stereo to last my lifetime.

Thanks again!  You all are "awesome" (in the original, intended meaning - back when the topography
   was different and we all walked up to school, and then up again back home!).
