[Heath] Pot shaft stuck 'rock solid'

I recently picked up about 6 Heath code practice oscillators for Boy 
Scouts. (older metal ones).
Every one had a rock-solid stuck volume pot.
A single drop from a toothpick of WD40 in the slot, and each one is now 
like new.
