Is 80mA about ballpark for idling current @ Ep=1900V?  Is there supposed to
be a top on the cage?  If there is, anyone got a spare they could sell or
barter for a Heath green desk mic or Johnson Viking knob[s] or.

I may not go any farther with the Warrior; I have enough 866's to start my
own superfund site but only ONE pair of 3B28's.73, Brian KA9EGW
